AI readiness check
See if ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity can read, understand and quote your page.
Common questions
What does the AI readiness check look at?
It checks robots.txt rules for the crawlers behind ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini, and looks for llms.txt. It reviews schema markup, headings and text available without JavaScript. It also checks your title, description and social card.
Does a high score mean ChatGPT will recommend my brand?
No, a high score means your page passes most of these checks. Mentions also depend on what other sites say about your brand. SearchSeal tracks which questions lead AI tools to mention your brand and which lead them to mention your rivals.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
Yes, it is free and you do not need an account. Each visitor can run up to 20 checks every 10 minutes.
Why is an AI crawler blocked when I never blocked it?
Some hosting, CDN and security plugins add AI crawler rules to robots.txt for you. Your CDN may also block AI crawlers at its firewall, which this check cannot see. Check your CDN's bot settings as well as robots.txt.
What is llms.txt?
A proposed plain-text file at the root of your site that lists your most useful pages for AI tools. Few AI tools read it today, so it is a low-impact fix, but it takes minutes to add.
