Connect and choose a property
Connect during brand setup or open the brand's Integrations page and choose Connect Google Search Console. Google opens its OAuth consent screen. Sign in with an account that can access the site, approve the connection, then select a property from the list returned to SearchSeal. In Integrations, choose Use this property, then Sync now to start importing its history.
The connection is optional and requests the read-only scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly. SearchSeal reads the selected property's data. It does not change your Search Console settings or publish edits to your website. The stored refresh token lets later imports run without asking you to sign in each day.
See queries, pages and search performance
SearchSeal reads daily web-search rows containing the date, query, page URL, clicks, impressions and average position. Separate requests read whole-site totals, query totals and daily page totals. Click-through rate is calculated from clicks and impressions. The search view shows clicks over time, top queries and pages, giving each number the context of a selected reporting period.
The connection also reads Google URL Inspection results for selected pages: index verdict, coverage status, last crawl time and Google's chosen canonical URL. Those checks help identify page problems to review. Page totals include searches whose individual queries Google hides, so a query breakdown can differ from the full page or site total.
Read the dates and coverage
Automatic sync is scheduled daily at 12:00 UTC; Sync now is also available. The first query-and-page import requests 28 days of finalized history. Site totals and daily page totals cover up to 90 days, while query demand uses a 28-day window. Later imports continue from the last completed day, with query-and-page catch-up capped at 90 days.
SearchSeal allows a three-day processing lag using Google's Pacific calendar and requests finalized data. Integrations shows Data through, Last sync and any last error separately. The search chart labels Google's data-through date, and unpublished days remain gaps. Read that date before comparing periods: a recent sync attempt does not mean today's searches are available. Missing query detail is not evidence of no demand.
Use demand to choose page fixes
During onboarding, built-in templates suggest buyer questions from imported queries. You review and confirm the questions to track. A confirmed question keeps its search origin, allowing related impressions to inform fix priority. Rules also find search fixes, such as pages with weak click-through rates or queries ranking near the first page. Their instructions and draft checklists are built from the recorded search evidence.
Open a fix to inspect its reason and target page before deciding what to change. The worked question-selection example shows how to carry a search query through to an answer review and a page edit.
Disconnect when you choose
Open Integrations and choose Disconnect on the Google Search Console card. SearchSeal deletes the refresh token and stops future imports. Previously imported data stays with the brand until brand or account deletion, or an earlier deletion request. You can also revoke access through your Google Account permissions. Read the privacy policy for Google data use and the retention details before connecting.
