Start with one buyer question
Example Coffee sells espresso machines. Its tracked question is “Which espresso machines fit a small kitchen?” SearchSeal checks tracked questions daily, saving the question, model and date with each answer. All observations below are fictional.
Read the answer, check brand mentions and rivals, then open the returned sources.

| Question: Which espresso machines fit a small kitchen? | Save exact wording and date |
| Observation: October 12, 2026; model recorded; fictional sample | Record assistant, date and available settings |
| Answer: Rival A first; Example Coffee below it | Read the wording; position is not a ranking |
| Returned URLs: Rival A comparison page; example.com/compact-machines | Open both pages and compare facts |
A returned URL does not prove an explicit citation; SearchSeal records that status as unknown. Check the destination, its facts and access for readers and crawlers.
Identify the gap and choose the page
Rival A explains machine width and counter clearance. Example Coffee's /compact-machines page omits both. This gap does not explain the answer's cause or predict a ranking change.
Add verified facts where they belong. If your page already covers them, inspect the external source. It may need a correction request or no action if irrelevant.
Write a narrow, reviewable fix
Add “Measure your counter first” to /compact-machines. Give each model's verified width and clearance, explain measuring and link to product specifications.
“Compact One is 23 cm wide and needs 5 cm clearance on each side. Allow 33 cm of counter width. Check specifications for height, depth and ventilation before ordering.”
These are invented dimensions. Verify real measurements and safety requirements against current manufacturer instructions.
SearchSeal Actions links questions, answers and target pages to suggested fixes. Review the reason, instruction and draft. Choose Accept fix, verify facts and publish through your website process. Choose Mark done after publication.
Recheck the same question
Keep the question and scope consistent. Compare later answers with the original. Wording, sources or brand order may change; none proves the edit caused it.
In a fictional October 15 recheck, the same assistant describes the 33 cm requirement but still lists Rival A first. Record both. Log collection failures separately from absent mentions or successful fixes.
Compare dates, samples, wording and URLs. Optional search connections are read-only and have separate reporting dates. Search data is not AI prompt volume. Decide whether to keep monitoring, revise the page or inspect another source.
