Who's behind this
I'm a solo builder based in Jakarta. This is my first public launch.
Before this, I was a consultant. Spent years making slides for a living. Got tired of convincing people things were good ideas and wanted to actually build something instead.
So now instead of tweaking PowerPoint animations at midnight, I'm debugging code at midnight. Huge improvement. Definitely no regrets. My sleep schedule is completely normal.
SearchSeal is my first real product. We'll see if building is actually better than advising or if I just traded one type of suffering for another.
Why today
Tomorrow is Valentine's Day and I want to spend it with my wife.
I've spent every weekend for the past two months building this. She's been more patient than I deserved. Launching today means I can close the laptop tomorrow without guilt.
Also, yes, it's Friday the 13th. I built a tool that replaces guesswork with data. Launching on a day people avoid because of superstition felt right.
The honest state of things
Zero paying customers as of this morning. I don't know if the pricing is right or if the features I prioritized are what people actually want.
What I do know: I benchmarked every competitor I could find. As of February 2026, SearchSeal is the cheapest and the most feature-loaded in the category. Whether that matters to anyone other than me, I'm about to find out.
That's why I'm launching. I could keep polishing for another three months or I could put it out there and learn from real feedback.
